National Association of Latino Independent Producers
The National Association of Latino Independent
Producers (NALIP) is a national membership organization that addresses the professional needs of Latino/Latina independent
producers. NALIP is the first such effort aimed at Latino production in thirty years, and it is the first to last more
than one year and to provide ongoing support for the Latino independent film and video makers. We stand as the
premiere Latino media organization, addressing for eight years the most underrepresented and the largest ethnic minority in
the country
Texas Film Commission
The Texas Film Commission (TFC) was created
in 1971 by Texas Governor Preston Smith to "encourage the orderly development of the film, television, and multi-media
production industry in Texas in order to utilize the state's vast array of natural, human, and economic resources which
are uniquely suitable for that industry." Since then, the TFC has expanded to included the film, television, commercial,
video game, and animation industries
